Kit Kat Minis Redesign

For PAC Packaging Consortium’s 2020 Student Design Competition, I developed a sustainable design concept for Nestle’s Kit Kat Minis with my partner, Bailey Vanduinen. Using our knowledge in both marketing and sustainability, we proposed a package that was made of recyclable carton board with a food-grade compostable interior bag. The design is based on Kit Kat’s iconic chocolate shape. The resulting submission was awarded 1st place by Nestle’s panelists.

This structure is known as a dieline, which is designed to be read by a ESKO Kongsberg cutting table that uses a laser to create cuts, perforations and fold lines into the material.
